This is to help my fellow job applicants and veterans who are thinking about dealing with this company when it comes to their job applications, job hiring process, they are a scam.

I will go through my entire course of events with these unprofessional people. I don't want this to happen to anyone else, they will play games with you, they will waste your time, they will fill you false hope and they will treat you lower than a human being.

I completed my application for the Route Sales Representative position on March 27th.

On March 29th at 8:48 am. I received an email saying that I met the qualifications for the position and that my application has been passed to the Hiring Manager.

On March 29th at 12:24 pm, I received another email giving me the link to an interview that I had to schedule.

On March 30th I received the confirmation of my interview for April 6th at 9 am.

On April 5th I received another email confirming my interview.

On April 6th I had the worst interview of my life, and within the first five minutes of this online interview using Zoom, I knew I would not get the position. For thirty minutes I watched Two men staring at their computers and desks paying no attention to me. They had not reviewed my application, they were unaware of any of my experience and used the first ten minutes of it trying to get me to back out of it like it was a burden to interview me; however, they asked me one huge question that has to lead me to this point.

Interviewer: "Do you have any traffic violations?"

Me: "Yes sir I do, I have a couple of speeding tickets here are the dates"

Interviewer: "Ok but nothing within the past year?"

Me: "No sir"

Interviewer: "Ok that's fine"

This part is really important, remember that I answered their questions and told them about the speeding tickets I had.

On April 7th received an email telling me thank you for the interview.

On April 8th I received an email telling me that I did not get the job.

On April 21st at 1:43 pm. I was contacted by an Autumn who left the following voice mail: Hey Clifton this is Autumn with Frito Lay, please give me a call as soon as you get the chance. I wanted to discuss an opportunity, here is my phone #.

I called her back that same day at 2:10 pm, and she tells me that the position had already been filled by the time of my interview on April 6th, but the hiring managers liked me, and due to some personal changes the position was available to me. I had to go back and reapply for the position, but I would not have to interview it again.

Text me when you have completed it.

As soon as I get off the phone, I complete the application online and I text her at 2: 19 pm, saying. "This is Clifton ma'am, I have completed the application."

Her response. "Hi, Clifton go ahead and schedule your interview. You won't need to interview but once that goes through I can move things forward.

On April 21st at 2:39 pm, I got another email saying telling me I meet the qualifications.

Right after I received the email, I schedule an interview for April 27, 2021, at 7:00 am.

I sent a text to Autumn right after this saying,

"Good to go ma'am" and "Completed ma'am"

On April 21st at 3:10 pm, I got an email telling me to thank you for taking the time to schedule an appointment.

On April 21st at 3:45 I received another email inviting me to an interview.

I reschedule another interview for April 27, 2021, at 7:30 am, I had thought I had done something wrong and didn't want to miss this opportunity.

I text Autumn on April 23, 2021, at 10:28 because I have not heard anything in several days and I say the following,

"Good Morning Mrs. Autumn, is there anything else I need to complete?"

On April 26th at 12:53 I call her and received the following text message,

"Please text me." Followed by "Hi Clifton I am in a meeting. I'll call you soon." I replied with, "Good to go, ma'am."

On April 26, 2021, at 3:54 I received a call from Autumn and I asked her how things would go tomorrow. She said we didn't need to do the interview, and she would push everything through she just had to wait till after the interview time.

I asked her when would I be able to start and she said she was aiming for May 17th, it just depends on how long the background check came through. I said thank you and waited for the next email to come in.

On April 27 2021 at 2:24 Pm, I received an email saying "Great news regarding your interview for the Route Sales Representative. The hiring team would like to officially extend a job offer, call us.

On April 27, 2021, at 2:25 pm, I called the phone listed on the email and got the verbal job offer that I accepted.

On April 27, 2021, at 2:28 pm, I received two emails saying congratulations and welcome to Frito-Lay! As well as another email about my DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.

On April 27, 2021, at 2:29 pm, I received an email from First Advantage about my background screening.

I clicked on the link and completed the background check right after receiving the email.

On April 27, 2021, at 3:23 Pm.

I received several emails, saying thank you for providing my information and providing me information to complete my drug screen.

On April 28, 2021 I completed both my drug screen and my DOT Card.

On April 29, 2021, at 8:07 am, I received an email saying my background report and been submitted to Frito-lay.

On April 29, 2021, at 3:33 Pm, I received the following text. "Hi, Clifton, this is Tara with Frito Lay. I looked over your background info and you seem to have left off any employment history for April 2020. I have sent you a new link so you can add everything and account for April 2020.

Send me a text when you have it completed, and I'll take another look.

This is where it gets really important.

On April 29, 2021, at 3:34 Pm, I received two emails from Frito-Lay recruitment saying the following,

"Dear Clifton, Based on the Motor Vehicle Report information contained in the background report, we are considering taking adverse action." The information they were talking about was the two tickets that I had already mentioned in the interview I had prior. I had to complete a questionnaire explaining the tickets, which all I could say was they were speeding tickets.

The other email was from the background check having me fix the issues they found.

On April 29th at 4:34 pm, I received an email from Frito-Lay telling me thank you for completing my background check.

On April 30th at 10:51 am. I received the last email from Frito-Lay "We regret to inform you that your offer for the position of Route Sales Representative is being rescinded due to the results of your Motor Vehicle Report. The same two tickets I told them about back in my first interview on April 6th.

The company had known about my tickets for 24 days.

They played me, they contacted me about the job and had me go through all the hoops, just to take it away from me.

They treated me like dirt, lower than a human being. I don't know how this is legal, but everyone should know about this; this company does not respect veterans, they do not respect human beings.

User's recommendation: Dont Trust them.
