Mold

I purchased a Flavor Mix pack for my family's little kids that were coming to visit. One of the Cool Ranch Doritos bags contained a big piece of mold.

Immodestly washed my hands and table, took photos and then threw it away. I tried calling the "Questions or Comments" number, 1-80*-352-****, today on Tuesday at 9:40am and got a recorded "Closed" message when the times liste to be open state 9:00am to 4:30pm Weekdays. This was my next step. I don't want to cause a big scene about the chips but it was disgusting and quite disappointing.

Also, you might need to look into finding where the bag came from because there may be more mold.

That's unhealthy and unsafe. I'm just glad none of the little children were the ones to open the bag because they might have gotten very seriously sick.

We found a dead mouse in a freshly opened bag of Ruffles Original Chips

We purchased a new bag of Ruffles original Potato chips and while eating straight from the bag, i noticed an odd odor and taste to the chips. Right after that i reached in the bag a touched a strange item which turned out to be a dead mouse.

We immediatly contacted Frito-Lay, the FDA, the local store we purchased them at and my Doctor. What we have experienced from Frito-Lay has been in my opinion-criminal. They sent courior to our house to pick up the mouse to be sent for testing which we assumed was testing to see if the mouse had diseases. To sum up the position that Frito-Lay has taken is this: We dont know how the mouse got in the bag but it couldnt have come from their manufacturing process.

Basically implicating that we must have put the mouse in the bqag ourselves. We asked for copies of their test results which they stated they would send via overnight delivery but we recieved a letter instead stating that their nacrosis test proved that the mouse had only been dead 3 days before we froze it for their pick up. It is odd that the courior stated it would take him 4-5 days before the factory would even recieve the mouse. Their math doesnt add up.

Anyhow, to say the least, Frito-Lay must have a standard operating procedure to lie, deny and cover up everything rather than admit fault. Did i mention that it was a fresh bag of chips that was opened with no visible holes and had factory gas still in the bag that they use to eal in freshness which inlcudes dead mice which wont decay without the presence of oxygen plus they didnt even offor to replace the bag of chips!

Omg shut up get over it u cry baby. Who cares about the peanuts.

People who are allergic to the peanuts can now enjoy cracker jack so shut up with ur lame complaint. Its *** and a waste of time to complain about this

Guest

What in heck difference does it make if there are peanuts in a pkg. of Cracker Jacks.

Furthermore, if you are an adult, you are too old for them. I really doubt that you are an adult being you don't seem to know how to capitalize and spell real well.

It's time to grow up. Do you honestly think a handful of your friends and family not buying Cracker Jacks will hurt the company?

Guest

Because the peanuts are the best part.

Guest

I seriously doubt that your friends and grandchildren will not buy them just because you tell them not to.

Actually they will, my friends already agreed to tell their friends. A few friends are not my friends anymore because they still continue to buy cracker jacks.

I told my grandchildren if they buy crackerjacks with my money that they will not be allowed over to my house ever and I would never bake the brownies that they like for them. I also know people who own small stores and told them I would put them out of business by telling everyone in town that I saw insects and rats running in the store. If they don't want people to believe that there are rats and insects running around the store they will stop selling cracker jacks until this issue is resolved. In a small town like mine word spreads like wildfire and everyone will think that the store that sells the cracker jacks is infested with rats they will stop shopping there forcing them to go out of business.

Word of mouth can go a long way.

It is bad enough that they don't put good toys in anymore.

They only put cheap stickers with jokes and riddles. This is going too far.

Whether the OP wrote this or if it is some troll. You can get sued if it turned out there are no rats and insects in the store. If someone is trolling pretending to be the OP don't worry about it, however if the OP is posting this and her lies cost them to go out of business due to rumours the person owning the store can sue you.

Chip ripoff

Frito Lay baked ruffles chips are now down to 6 1/4 oz. from 8 oz. They didn't even bother to try and disguise it, the bag is much smaller than it was a month ago. The price naturally hasn't changed much (it might even have gone up a bit). Like our Canadian friend has pointed out, this is not the first time they have pulled this trick. I believe they started out at 12 oz. when the baked varieties were first available. There are tens of products I buy that are also doing this, even paper towels and toilet paper.

What an awful thing to do. It's totally obvious, I don't buy chips regularly but when I do they are the baked variety.

I was kind of disappointed when I saw this change and I think its a bit wrong to do this to the "healthier" option. What a shame. Especially when buying for a get together and going in with premeditated expectation.

Just a simple let down. That won't be forgotten.

Guest

the baked chips are now $3.29 vs $3.99

First off your so quick to blame the company, second of all Somme gas station go pick up there own product from SAMs we have no control over that, third some gas stations place there own order and puts up and as well pull there own out of date so take that up with them we have been fighting to take control over the gas stations but that's their corporate office choice so what u see it's not always what's on the surface do your homework thank you

Bake your own cookies that way you can get them to taste the way you want them to.
